CORE Committee (Culture • Opportunity • Respect • Engagement)
The CORE Committee, formerly known as the IDEA Committee, reflects the ALFN’s focus on strengthening organizational culture, expanding professional opportunity, and fostering meaningful engagement across the ALFN community. CORE represents some of the most important foundational values of ALFN’s mission by promoting respect, collaboration, and thoughtful dialogue that supports professional growth and connection at every level.

The CORE Committee meets quarterly and plays an active role in shaping educational content and member engagement initiatives in alignment with CORE principles. The committee hosts educational webinars with guest speakers, contributes topic ideas for ALFN programming, and assists in planning ALFN’s annual CORE Summit.

The committee works to:

• Strengthen ALFN’s professional culture by promoting respect, collaboration, and shared values
• Encourage meaningful member engagement through initiatives aligned with CORE principles
• Support ALFN leadership in advancing strategic initiatives aligned with CORE values
• Communicate CORE initiatives, programming, and outcomes to ALFN members and industry participants
