COVID-19 Updates from the Law Office of Michael J. Schroeder (Texas)

Per the Texas Supreme Court's 4th Emergency Order … essentially all pending Texas hearings, trials, court appearances are cancelled and are to be reset after April 26.  We continue to be in contact with each local court on an as needed basis for our cases.

We have received confirmation from Fannie Mae legal that Fannie Mae wants servicers to (1) continue to take FC action but not conduct a FC sale for 60 days, and (2) immediately proceed to FC sale on all abandoned or vacant properties.  Freddie Mac's directive appears to be similar to that of Fannie Mae.
