Padgett Law Group Announces Agreement with Stephens Millirons, P.C., Expands into Alabama and Mississippi

Padgett Law Group now offers a ten-state full service, brick-and-mortar legal services footprint in addition to national bankruptcy, foreclosure, business purpose, and replevin practices
[TALLAHASSEE, FL | THURSDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2022] Padgett Law Group (PLG) announced today an Agreement with law firm Stephens Millirons, P.C. The Agreement is set to close January 1, 2023, whereupon Stephens Millirons attorneys and staff will become employees of and operate as PLG out of the firm's new physical locations in Huntsville, AL and Jackson, MS.

The Agreement expands PLG's existing brick-and-mortar footprint to ten states which currently includes Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas, Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. PLG's Mississippi and Alabama practice will be led by Stephens Millirons' current principals Robert J. Wermuth, Esq. and Rebekah P. Beal, Esq. Clients will not experience any change in contacts nor any disruption in service as the technology and process integration is underway. PLG expects to be fully operational in both jurisdictions by January 1, 2023.

“Stephens Millirons has served clients in Alabama for nearly fifty years. It's a legacy of which we are deeply proud, and I am confident that our shared values with PLG and our common goal of client-first service backed by best-in-class operations and technology gives us the opportunity to continue to lead in this market for another fifty years,” said Robert Wermuth, Esq.

PLG's Chief Development Officer, Cade Holleman, added, “We are excited about this strategic expansion into markets which makes long-term sense for our operational footprint and clients' needs. We are excited about the infusion of such a talented and experienced team in Alabama and Mississippi to further build upon PLG's reputation for performance and precision, backed by the best people in the industry.”
