LeAnn Covey and Laura Infante - new shareholders with Clunk, Hoose, Co., LPAJune 1, 2022 – Clunk, Hoose Co, LPA – representing Creditors in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia is pleased to announce that LeAnn Covey and Laura Infante have become shareholders with the firm effective January 2022.
Ms. Covey started with the firm prior to starting law school at the University of Akron and has been with the firm for a total of 19 years. She is licensed to practice law in the State and Federal Courts of Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia. She has managed the firm's bankruptcy department for over 11 years and has been actively involved with other roles at the firm, including foreclosure, loss mitigation, compliance and general collections. Ms. Covey has spoken on various foreclosure and bankruptcy topics at local and national events and written articles for the Legal League Quarterly, DS News and the ALFN Angle. Ms. Covey volunteers in her community by serving on the board of directors of the local theater group, Stow Players, as its President. She also volunteers her time as a judge for the Speech and Debate Team and serves as Vice-President of the parent booster organization, Friends of Theater, both at Stow-Munroe Falls High School.
Ms. Infante joined with the firm while attending law school at the University of Akron and has been with the firm for a total of 17 years. She is licensed to practice law in the State and Federal Courts of Ohio and Kentucky. She manages the firm's litigation and judgment departments. She also has experience in other areas of the firm, including foreclosure, loss mitigation and general collections. Ms. Infante has more than 14 years of litigation experience that includes handling depositions, trials and appellate work. She has attended hundreds of hearings and mediations, written a wide variety of motions, briefs and discovery and regularly negotiates settlements. She has written articles the ALFN Angle. In her spare time, Ms. Infante volunteers at the local food bank and volunteers for her son's soccer program and her daughter's cheer program.
Both Ms. Covey and Ms. Infante have been key contributors to the firm and work hard for their clients and continue to expand their legal experience and leadership skills while serving their clients.
