Business Analyst

Business Analyst
Primary responsibilities:
- Acts as a translator between the end users, stakeholders, and the developers throughout the entire development cycle.
- Identify, Prioritize, Document, and Clearly communicate the business problem that requires a solution.
- Collaborate with the team to find the optimal business solutions for our clients.
- Define and document software requirements.
- Requirements are documented in stories with discussion and involvement from developers, Quality Analysts, and end users.
Secondary responsibilities:
- Assists with project prioritization and project planning
- Assists with the definition of test scenarios for new requirements
- Administers and manages product acceptance testing.
- Assists with implementation of new clients, focusing on identifying any gaps between the clients needs and the current software functionality.
- Assists with customer support focusing on new functionality.

| Requirements |
Requirements:
- 5 or more years of business analyst experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- 2 - 3 years working as part of an Agile development team is preferred
- Ability to generalize from a specific business problem to a solution that is effective and flexible
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and clients
- Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or related is preferred
- Mortgage Default, Finance, or Title industry knowledge is preferred
