ALFLNPAC: AMPLIFYING ADVOCACY
Founded in 2016, the purpose of ALFNPAC is to support and encourage the election to federal offices of persons who support reasonable and responsible legislation and regulation which supports the needs of businesses in the financial services sector and the overall freedom and health of the economy and to engage in political activities permitted by the federal election campaign laws, regulations promulgated thereunder by the Federal Election Commission, and relevant state law. WHO CAN CONTRIBUTE
The members of ALFNPAC shall consist of all ALFN Members, shareholders, executives or administrative personnel and their families who have contributed to the PAC during the current or the preceding calendar year provided such individuals are United States citizens or lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the United States. All contributions to ALFNPAC shall be voluntary, and no contribution to ALFNPAC shall be solicited or secured by physical force, job discrimination, or financial reward or reprisal, or by the threat thereof, or as a condition of employment with ALFN or obtained in any commercial transaction. SOLICITATION AND AUTHORIZATION
Members of the ALFN should download, complete and return (by physical mail or email) a copy of the ALFNPAC Permission to Solicit authorization form. Such "authorization" is required before ALFNPAC can soicit you, your company's executives, administrative employees or shareholders for a contribution. The linked form simply designates the ALFNPAC as the sole political action committee that may solicit you or your company's employees for the year or years indicated on the form. ALFN members desiring additional information on their eligibility to participate in the activities of ALFN's PAC should check with their organization to determine whether he or she is a member of that organization's "restricted class." - Must be personal; Federal law prohibits contirbutions from incorporated entitites;
- Contributions to ALFNPAC are not deductable;
- The maximum annual individual contribution is $5,000.
